JACOB KARLZON - piano
DANIEL FRANCK - bass
JAKOB HØYER - drums
We Come in Peace is a collective acoustic trio whose repertoire is based on what the moment calls for.
Original material is mixed with standards, pop songs, classical compositions, and much more.
The music is freely composed in the moment, with common expression as core.
We Come in Peace functions both as an organism and as three architects who together create temporary structures through their present and intimate interplay.
Jacob Karlzon is a highly acclaimed Steinway pianist who is classically trained, but whose love of electronic, rock and jazz shines through in his tones. He has played with Dominic Miller, Kenny Wheeler & Billy Cobham and released a wide range of albums through Warner Music & ACT, among others. He loves to play and seek boundaries with his music, which is very much reflected in the newly formed trio.
Daniel Franck, who despite his Swedish origins is often referred to as 'the big dane', is hard to avoid if you move in the Danish jazz scene. Franck's love for his work and skills have made him a highly sought-after musician - both live and in the studio. He has played countless concerts and with countless major jazz musicians including Caroline Henderson,
Lewis Nash & Joey Calderazzo. This can only be said to be the mark of a bassist from the top shelf of the jazz cabinet.
Jakob Høyer, who is known for his collaborations with Trentemøller, Raveonettes & Jacob Bro, is a highly recognized and sought-after drummer whose approach to music has attracted attention in the upper echelons of Danish rock and jazz. He is without a doubt one of the country's most prominent drummers.
When the three gentlemen take the stage, few things are certain, but an intimate experience with a high musical level is guaranteed
