I had such a nice time talking to Gig Performer's Brett Pontecorvo!
The live performance host Gig Performer is such a great, open and dynamic platform that is just truly inspiring to work with. As pianists and keyboardists using vst and au synths and plugins, we all have different needs from platforms like Ableton Live, Mainstage etc.
My vision has always been to seamlessly blend the acoustic and electronic worlds, wiping out the borders between them. There are a lot advantages from both Ableton and Mainstage but I find Gig Performer to be a very good way to work with soundscapes and textures in my music.
Using GP feels pretty much like when you were a kid, building LEGO. You just let your imagination take you places and you built what you felt like building as you went along.
